Introduction: Shake that Waffle Cookie!

Introduction: Shake that Waffle Cookie!

I bet you can’t keep your eyes off these Waffle Cookies!

Waking up in the morning can be hectic and sometimes disorienting . But what better to wake up to than homemade Waffle Cookies!!!

This is one of my favorite recipes. It feels like an organized biscuit and is a convenient way to eat waffles on the go compared to the hot fluffy and buttery waffles!

You will be needing the following ingredients:

  1. 1 pound butter
  2. 2 1/3 cups white sugar
  3. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 9 eggs
  6. 4 1/8 cups all-purpose flour

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat the waffle iron on medium setting.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Mix in the vanilla and salt.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Then  stir in the flour.
  4. Drop the batter by heaping spoonful onto the waffle grid. Close the cover and bake for about 3 minutes and 20 seconds. Every  waffle iron is a little different so you may want to test it on the first  couple of cookies.
  5. Let the cookies cool before you demolish the entire batch.

Enjoy these amazing cookies and remember “A cookie a day keeps the sadness away.”
